Actor Headshots Near Me
A plain, unpaid list of headshot photographers who shoot actors, grouped by state and city. No rankings, no sponsored slots, no affiliate links. Find the ones close to you, then go look at their galleries.

How this list works, in full
These photographers are listed for your convenience and nothing more. No one has paid to appear here, and we take nothing if you book one. We have not shot with most of them and we are not vouching for any of them.
Listings inside each state are alphabetical. The order means nothing. A photographer marked Partner has an existing relationship with GotAuditions — that tag is disclosure, not a recommendation, and partners are still listed alphabetically alongside everyone else.
If a listing is wrong, out of date, or you want yours removed, tell us and we will fix it.

Where the photographers are
States with a solid list get their own page with every listing, city by city. Smaller states are on this page — tap through to jump straight to them.
Solid tiles are full state pages. Dashed tiles jump down this page — a state gets its own page once it has twenty listings, so those are still filling in.

Sixty seconds inside a gallery
Proximity is the easy part — this list solves that. Picking well is the part that costs money. Three things separate a headshot that gets you seen from an expensive photograph of your face.
The eyes carry it
Scroll their gallery and look only at eyes. If most of the subjects look like they are thinking about something specific, that photographer directs. If they all look pleasant and empty, they do not.
Range across faces, not one face
Anyone can get one great frame of one photogenic person. Look for strong work across ages, sizes and skin tones. That is repeatability, and repeatability is what you are buying.
It has to look like a Tuesday
Casting is matching a face to a role. Heavy retouching, dramatic lighting and a styled hero shot all work against you. You want the version of you that walks into the room.

Questions
Straight answers
How do I find an actor headshot photographer near me?
Start with your state above, then narrow by city. Every listing shows the photographer's city and their own website — go straight to the gallery rather than judging by the listing. If your state is thin, the neighbouring one is usually a two-hour drive and worth it.
What should actor headshots cost?
Most working actors pay somewhere between a few hundred and around fifteen hundred dollars for a session, and the number swings hard by market and by how many looks you shoot. We break the ranges down in what headshots cost.
Is this list ranked, or did anyone pay to be on it?
Neither. Listings are alphabetical inside each state and nobody paid. A Partner tag means that photographer works with GotAuditions elsewhere on the site — it is disclosure, not an endorsement, and it does not move them up the list.
My state is not showing a page. Why?
A state page only publishes once we have twenty listings in it, so we are not putting up a thin page with four names on it. Under twenty, the listings still appear on this page — and we will point you at the nearest state that does have a full page.
Can I take my own headshots instead?
For a first profile, sometimes. A phone in good window light beats a bad studio shot. Read DIY headshots and shooting on iPhone, and be honest with yourself about the result.
How do I get listed, or fix my listing?
Email us. Listing is free, we do not sell placement, and we will correct or remove anything on request.
Great headshot. Now the tape.
The photo gets you the audition. The self-tape gets you the part — and it is the piece most actors are guessing at. Our free tools handle the reader, the framing and the file.
