How to Become an Actor

The first real step is training and material, not representation. Agents and casting respond to evidence — footage, credits, a class you are actively in — and none of that exists yet on day one. So step one is to start working: get into a class or a group where you act regularly, and begin collecting the pieces the next six steps cover.
